Is it better to use laptops or tablets for this program?

Follow

Students in Computer Science Principles (CSP) courses or Computer Science Discoveries (CSD) courses will need a desktop or laptop computer with a mouse and keyboard.

You can use either laptops or tablets with all other courses. You can decide which to use, based on what you have available and what your students are most comfortable with. Please see our technical requirements here: https://support.code.org/hc/en-us/articles/202591743-What-kind-of-operating-system-and-browser-do-I-need-to-use-Code-org-s-online-learning-system-

For the online portion of our courses, all you need is an internet connection and computers/tablets. You don't need to download anything. If you are doing the "unplugged" activities in our courses, which are teacher-led activities that don't require the use of a computer, you will need additional supplies, which are listed at the beginning of all lesson plans. Please see this video on why doing unplugged activities to teach computer science is important: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7lcnNcONHY&list=PLzdnOPI1iJNdSi1R-QTs-iQ-HUURR5FsL

Please see http://studio.code.org for our course listings.
