How do I apply for your training programs?

Follow

For K-5 training programs:

Go to http://code.org/professional-development-workshops to find a free workshop for K-5 teachers near you! Click one of the pins on the map to bring up an 'info and signup' link, where you'll find a form for signing up.

If you don't see a workshop in your area, you can look through our list of CSF Facilitators in your state at https://code.org/educate/professional-learning/cs-fundamentals-directory to inquire about bringing a workshop closer to you. We also offer an online self-paced course for K-5 teachers, at https://code.org/educate/professional-development-online.

For middle and high school training programs:

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Read the Professional Learning Program Overview.

  2. Check out CS Discoveries or CS Principles course pages.

  3. Set aside 10-15 minutes to complete the application.

In addition, we recommend that you make sure you’re able to receive emails from teacher@code.org at the email address you will use for your application. If this address is blocked by your district’s firewall, please contact the appropriate IT representative at your school or district to whitelist this address.

Remind your principal to look for the principal approval message in his or her email, and to complete the approval form as soon as possible. Your principal may also need to whitelist emails from teacher@code.org. Your application will not be considered complete until your principal submits the approval form.
